A Gypsy Barber
A gypsy barber sitting on the porch a sunny day
He sits in between the sun and the shade
He looks what scared and prejudiced people would call criminal
But he also looks what curious girls would call sexy

Today is a day when he cares neither or nor
He thinks of his old mother and the time before
He thinks of his lost loves and The Lost Love
He thinks about life and the Lord above

But above all that he ponders over

What to do with eternity from today?
What’s lost is lost, never coming back
Try to feel the winds blowing just for you
Walk through the forest of lies, which is life

His hair is long and tied in a knot
Didn’t shave for days, and he cares not
Levi’s jeans and stripped to the waist
Eating yesterday’s good, nothing goes to waste

White flip-flops and a special ring
With his worn guitar you can hear him sing
A wind of change surrounds him
His body is fit without going to the gym

But today all that he cares about is:

What to do with eternity from today?
What’s lost is lost, never coming back
Try to feel the winds blowing just for you
Walk through the forest of lies, which is life
