Since Lars got out of Idol 2008 he has been bound to Sony BMG, but now the contract has ended and he can finally make the record like he talked with Anders Bagge about already since the audition.

Lars Eriksson has prepared the whole winter. Put together an accompanying band, rehearsed and written songs for his album. An album that Sony BMG didn't want to record, but that the Idol judge Anders Bagge now is producing and releasing.
  - It has been on the move for a year. Already on my audition in Lund in April, Bagge said he wanted to make a record with me. Then Idol started with the contracts and all what's so. But since Friday I'm free!
  How has it been waiting?
  - It has been pretty sour, to go and not knowing if it will be something or not. So now it's really fun that it's going.
  When will you start recording?
  - I don't know, I'm meeting Bagge and forge plans on Sunday. Then I hope it will go pretty quick, but I've never recorded in a studio before, so I don't really know how it works.   How do you want it to sound?
  - I do like a lot of stuff from the sixties and seventies, Bob Dylan and that sound I have with me. And then more modern music like Pete Doherty. But you don't know how what we are doing will sound like in the end, and it's very exciting.
  Are you afraid of compromising?
  - Yeah, I've always been. But I and Bagge are clicking, he is open, helping and professional, so we'll have to meet halfway. I trust him. But I haven't signed any contract yet, so nothing is written for sure.
